Position Overview:
Instruct Education courses at the Clinton Campus
Adjunct assignments may include days, evenings or weekends
Format for delivery may include lecture, hybrid and/or web conference
Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills
Responsibilities will include:
Course instruction
Utilize technology (including LMS)
Gradebook/feedback up-to-date within 1 week
Timely response to student emails within 24 hours
Meet attendance and final grade entry deadlines
ILO/data reporting to Lead Instructor/Division as requested
Maintain communication with Lead Instructor and Director
Minimum qualifications & Requirements
Master’s degree in Education preferred; Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline may be considered. Prior teaching experience at the college level and experience with computer mediated instruction preferred. The successful candidate will: Possess a working knowledge of computers as a medium to manage and improve instruction. Demonstrate evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrate student centeredness. Be able to interact with a broad range of people with diverse backgrounds both on and off campus, in a positive manner. Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of the community college.
