JOB PURPOSE
To safeguard and enhance the reputation of brand DIAL and GMR
To prepare end-to-end media content
To maintain cordial relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
To support the media managers in media relations
ORGANISATION CHART
Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators

Content Management
Ensure steady flow of information to create a robust story bank
Identify opportunities for proactive big picture/ special stories
To be an individual contributor
Prepare press releases, whitepapers, story pointers, management quotes
Prepare responses to media queries
Follow the SOP for seeking approvals from the SCMs/ top management and ensure timely response to media
Work in synergy with head of media relations, Social Media head and media managers.
Ensure compliance with overall communication guideline
Gather inputs; create weekly information bulletin and get it vetted by Head of Media Relations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Crisis content
Ability to work for long working hours during crisis situation
A go-getter to proactively prepare management statement/ Press Release under the guidance of Head of Media communication
Work in synergy with Head of Social Media
Re-evaluate existing content & campaigns under the guidance of Head Media Relations.

Case studies & presentations
Prepare case studies on major campaigns
Identify opportunities for awards/ speaker placement
Review deliverable of the monitoring agency/ AOR
Prepare periodic reports and review PPTs
Prepare PPTs

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Agency management- Working closely with monitoring agency/ AOR
Day to day deliverables of the agency
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Working closely with media managers/ social media managers
Discuss all critical issues with Head of Media Relations internally and ensure closure
Work closely with, SPOCs, SCMs and maintain cordial relationship
Interface with the head of media relations and head of Social media for evaluating media sensitivities.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Arts/Mass Communications/English Hons
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of overall experience as content developer (preference would be given to the candidate with journalistic background)
