LearnERS Program Assistant The LearnERS Program Assistant is responsible for ongoing communication with programs to support appropriate completion of LearnERS applications, enrollment, and program participation. The LearnERS Program Assistant will provide telephone customer service and support to child care providers in Rhode Island who are participating in the LearnERS program, will complete data entry, and carry out review administrative and reporting functions related to the LearnERS Pilot and work very closely with the BrightStars Assessment team and the Quality Improvement team to coordinate all LearnERS activities, timelines and procedures.
All applicants must have scheduling flexibility during the day and early evening hours. Applicants for this position should be highly-motivated, have strong verbal and written communication skills and have a commitment to personal excellence. Must be based in Rhode Island- area.
Responsibilities:

Work with programs to submit complete and accurate LearnERS application and related materials.
Review and code documentation submitted by programs.
Coordinate the timeline of detailed written reports of pre-and-post-assessment findings with the Assessment Team.
Maintain and update BrightStars LearnERS program databases, including entering applications and completing internal processes. This includes data logging and maintaining program updates in the BrightStars LearnERS program database and workforce registry.
Complete monthly and quarterly reports analyzing LearnERS data to submit to Executive Director and DHS.
Maintain reliability on LearnERS procedures and support other staff in maintaining reliability.
Support BrightStars Assessment team and the Quality Improvement team to coordinate all LearnERS activities, timelines and procedures.
Prepare program recruitment materials, application and maintain website and social media posts regarding LearnERS
Learn additional assessment scales (e.g. Environment Rating Scales) in relation to agency demands.
Preparing and delivering presentations and recruitment information to diverse audiences about LearnERS

Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience:

Associates degree, business/administrative/customer service certification, early childhood education or equivalent training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English. Proficiency in both English and Spanish preferred.
Experience in delivering customer service.
Ability to interact professionally and respectfully in handling complex and sensitive family and program contacts.
Must be highly-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
Professional skill set for collaborating with members of a team.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable with public speaking

Individuals in this position must have the ability to:

Drive and have access to reliable transportation and current insurance.
Work in typical office and classroom environments. Walk and stand for at least one (1) hour.
Have access to internet to perform work assignments from home as necessary.
