Goal of Partner Sales Development Role

A Partner Sales Development Rep (PSDR) identifies and qualifies new sales opportunities through using a blend of inbound and outbound prospecting sales tactics. This role is dedicated to support our indirect sales channel to support the Genesys revenue goals generating partner opportunities; by directly working with the Partners. This role is measured by quarterly opportunity generation. We look for individuals who have a proven track record of overachieving and who likes to WIN!
Three core elements of the PSDR role:
1. Prospecting, identifies, qualifies, and cultivates Partner sales opportunities through a blend of outbound and inbound techniques, email, research on companies as a component of lead generation and qualification activities utilizing the web, LinkedIn, Intent tools and other Genesys tools available.
2. Gather key information to update the CRM system and assign a nurture path and follow-up strategy
3. Work closely with Partner Sales Account Executives, Genesys Channel Manager and Marketing Management to focus on targeted customers and qualify an opportunity to a high level using BANT/SPIN criteria
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Transform Partner Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Opportunities, by cultivating and educating prospective buyers as they move into the sales cycleWork closely with the Partner Account Executives to develop an account plan to approach target customers; via outbound techniques to get higher and wider into prospect accounts by having the ability to articulate value and uncover needs at each level of an organization.
Nurture leads until they are ready to progress in the sales cycle – provide information, discuss the product, and convey value.
Schedule intro meetings between Partner account executives and potential customers
Responsible for achieving aggressive quarterly targets and following up leads in a timely manner.
Demonstrate discipline to continuously learn and understand new and existing tools, products, and solutions; and use this knowledge to build and nurture strong rapport with prospects
The SDR has a strong skill set that uses the Lead Management process to:
Update SFDC to reflect current lead statusTake live chats and phone calls & follow-up via phone & email on leads from web, events, email campaigns, and other lead sources.; always ask for referralsCreates opportunities in CRM system & assign to appropriate sales team based on BANT /SPIN criteriaDemonstrate ability to include multi-threading accounts locating buyer advocates and building/engaging the customer buying committee to develop more accurate opportunity management

Experience of working with partnersDisplays a strong understanding of concepts specific to Cloud/SaaS environmentOutbound prospecting/inside sales experience preferably within IT / Cloud solutionsExperience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM platformsExcellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and telephone skillsAbility to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervisionAbility to analyze business opportunities and read situations wellAbility to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade othersAbility to develop compelling strategies that deliver results with a strong attention to detailExperience and deep understanding of front-line sales developmentResourceful & ability to adapt quickly to changing environmentDemonstrate how to effectively apply skills and techniques to successfully manage internal and external relationships with diverse groups of peopleAbility to swiftly learn product solutions as well as general industry knowledgeLanguages: Fluent in English
Work Context:
Must be legally eligible to work in IndiaWorks from desk with 80% of the assigned work hours predominately over the phone.Work the assigned territory which will be aligned to time zones and work schedules framed according to the territory assigned.
