Organization Background:
The Program Operations and Collaboration organization is part of the larger Information Systems team at Providence. The team is responsible for several business operation functions such as Governance, Asset Management, Client Engineering & Operations, DevOps, IS Marketing & Communications, Project Management as well as leads the strategic initiatives around the deployment and adoption of the Modern Workplace. The Modern Workplace effort develops a mix of technology workflows and collaboration applications that enable a more productive caregiver. These tools include Video Conferencing, Chat Clients, Data Sharing and Messaging applications, Modern Devices and Collaboration Equipment. The team architects, builds, deploys, and supports all aspects of these technologies while also being an early adopter of them to ensure usability and alignment to the overall organization’s needs.
What will you be responsible for?
Ensuring optimal caregiver experience for collaboration services across the organization. Drive modern digital workplace experience for caregivers.
Drive client laptop security compliance and own the patching and security policies are applied on client devices. Measure, monitor and drive corrective steps for security compliance related KPI’s.
Own the asset management, software packaging and software distribution services, including automation and modernization of the service.
Monitors the performance of the accountable disciplines and evaluate the performance of technology services based on specific KPIs.
Develop and negotiate preferred information technology vendor contracts and manage key vendor relationships.
Serve as Sponsor and/or Owner, as appropriate, for technology projects and initiatives within areas of accountability.
Partner with the entire IS leadership team for disaster recovery architecture, projects, and policies and participates in disaster drills.
Deliver services with a focus on caregiver experience, minimizing user impact and supporting IS activities that enable successful adoption of changes.
What would your day look like?
Define, measure and monitor the collaboration services, continuously innovate to provide seamless and modern experience.
Monitor compliance for client devices and drive corrective actions.
Ensure efficient, smooth and automated software distribution on client devices through modern tools and processes.
Creating awareness and manage to completion those issues that are not yet incidents but might become incidents in the future, impacting critical PSJH systems.
Working with IS leaders across PSJH, define service models and reporting mechanisms for accountable disciplines as a part of overall PSJH IS service design. Designs, implements, maintains, and operates departmental Service Level Agreements, Operating Level Agreements, and associated KPIs.
Who we are looking for?
Minimum 14 years of experience in leading technical teams in Collaboration/End User Computing functions (design validation)
Minimum 8 years of experience in hands on technical management experience in at least one of the following disciplines: Network, Server, Storage, VDI, or Security.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or IS
Preferably a master’s degree in Information Services; Business, Healthcare, or Public Administration; or IS Field
