Global Banking & Operations Technology (GBOT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm?s WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans, and tailored lending. Position Description

We are seeking an ETL Developer to join our Statements technology team to assist in the ongoing support and enhancement of the Wealth Management Statements application. This application is an existing application that is used to produce the monthly client statements. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a highly visible area and gain an in-depth understanding of the Wealth Management brokerage business by interfacing with numerous business and technical areas. The candidate would be hired to part of an existing team, helping to support and enhance the functionality of this existing application. This work would involve both production and QA support, as well as development across all aspects of the software development life cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS
Duties/Responsibilities

Design, development, implementation, support, and optimization of application.
Support of existing application processes
Collaborating with multiple technology teams that are upstream and downstream to the application.
Working in the Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally.
Required Skills

4-6 years of hands-on experience with writing SQL stored procedures in Teradata v16+ (including use of the corresponding batch processing tools e.g. bteq).
4-6 years of hands-on experience with Linux shell scripting and Python 3.0 scripting
4-6 years of hands-on experience with Informatica ETL programming and working with Information version 10+.
Knowledge and hands-on experience of DevOps (CI/CD) practices (e.g.: Git, Jenkins, TeamCity).
Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (e. g., security, entitlements, etc.).
Use of software engineering best practices including design review, code review and unit-testing.
Good Knowledge and hands-on experience of Agile practices (e.g., Kanban, Scrum).
Working knowledge of JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Understanding of non-functional requirements (security, scalability, reliability)
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, individually or in front of a group.
Desired Skills

Knowledge of financial systems (preferably back office) and an understanding of processes related to financial reporting.
Knowledge of Java 8
Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2016
Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
