Position Summary:
We’re looking for several freelance digital content producers with a minimum of 3 years of marketing experience (with b2b experience preferred) to work on a range of assignments for our clients as well as internal marketing initiatives.
In this role, you will need to be comfortable planning, producing, and editing content on a broad range of subjects and formats. Our clients fall into a range of sectors, including; healthcare, technology, financial services, education, and more.
You will apply consistent brand standards, tone, and voice, and you will elevate the overall quality of our work. You understand and have a level of comfort writing across a range of channels including websites, blogs, email, social, and paid ads.
Functions and Responsibilities:
Write outstanding B2B copy that engages corporate decision-makers, throughout the buying lifecycle, from acquisition, conversion, retention and beyond.
Develop engaging, strategic content for blogs, web, video, email, social and other channels
Present written work with confidence, clarity, and sound rationale
Manage working time and stay organized to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Proofread copy to identify and fix errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Love B2B—and show an insatiable curiosity to learn more about its intricacies
Skills + Traits + Abilities:
Portfolio or samples of your best copywriting work
3+ years of copywriting experience.
Experience writing copy for B2B marketing or sales enablement.
Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and accountability.
Excitement to work with an entrepreneurial digital agency and eager to learn more about the services we offer (SEO, PPC, Analytics, and Web Development).
Able to adapt to writing content for different industries within B2B, including healthcare, tech, and professional services.
Able to produce written case studies, blogs, articles for Marcel Digital’s own marketing efforts
Understand how to write SEO-optimized content.
A positive attitude towards clients and colleagues while also focusing on business realities and hitting deadlines.
Exemplary communication skills and clarity of thought.
Able to present confidently in front of clients.
Well organized and able to prioritize tasks and hit deadlines.
Able to manage third-party writers.
Write/proofread ad copywriting which needs strong attention to detail.
Able to ask good questions/interview clients for content ideas.
Knowledge of Nicolas Cage is a plus.
