About the Job:
A busy, expanding practice is looking to hire Front Desk Receptionist.
The perfect candidate will:
Greet patients and clients with a positive attitude.
Verify insurance eligibility and calculate insurance co-pay based on insurance eligibility.
Schedule and sign-in patients.
Call patients when their glasses are ready for pick up.
Make sure daily schedule is printed out and Doctors know what patients are coming for.
Scan insurances, patients’ forms, and other documents as necessary.
Assist doctors and other supporting staff, as necessary.
Call no-show patients and schedule them.
Enter data (eyeglass sales, prescriptions, patients’ information) in Eyepic’s software as needed.
Check supplies needed for the store when needed.
Keep the place organized and clean.
Qualifications:
Detail Oriented
Excellent communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working in a medical/optical office setting preferred
Competitive pay and a great working environment!
Bilingual is a plus (Spanish-speaking is a must).
Pay: $15.00-18.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position requires Saturday availability.
