IT Content and Collaboration Services Administrator Level III – Collaboration Suite Admin & Technical Writer Focus
Overview:
Myriad Genetics is looking for an experienced systems administrator to join our IT Content and Collaborations Services team. Someone with exceptional written and verbal communication skills who can help to navigate our business’ transformation to the cloud, who has a desire to work for a company that helps improve people’s lives.
Our team members primarily work from their home office, while maintaining general proximity to one of our office locations in Salt Lake City UT, Mason OH, or South San Francisco CA.
Core Administration Functions: To design, implement, maintain, and support corporate content, communication, and collaboration services including, but not limited to:
· Microsoft Office 365
· Microsoft SharePoint Online
· Microsoft Teams– Channels, Chat, Meetings, and Team Sites
· Microsoft OneDrive
· Microsoft Exchange
· Atlassian Confluence & Jira
· Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
· OpenText ApplicationXtender
· Zoom– Zoom Meetings, Zoom Webinars, and Zoom Rooms
Additional Responsibilities:
· Project & Task Management – Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with a broad range of department leaders, project teams, and vendors regarding active IT initiatives
· App and Data Cloud Migrations – Ability to assist with migration of on-premises data and services to hybrid O365 and AWS cloud, coordinating with cross-functional teams and departments.
· Business Process Improvements – Identify and improve upon existing processes across the organization using tools such as SharePoint Online, Confluence, Jira, Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerShell, Lucidchart, Miro, and more.
· Technical Writing and Documentation – Create and maintain excellent documentation within our IT Knowledge Base repositories (SharePoint & Confluence).
· Escalated Tier 3 support for Service Desk – timely resolution of issues related to any of the services that the CCS team supports in a helpful and friendly manner.
· Digital Faxing Services – Administrative duties related to maintaining and unifying faxing services that the CCS team is responsible for, such as eFax, RightFax, and Faxage.
· Rotating On-Call Support – Participate in team on-call rotation for 24×7 support of select CCS supported platforms.
· Monthly Maintenance Tasks – Participate in scheduled monthly maintenance activities for select CCS supported platforms and services (sometimes off-hours).
Qualifications:
· Formal Education – BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
· Work Experience – At least 5 years of relevant technical experience, preferably at a medium to large enterprise (Healthcare industry experience a plus)
· Office 365 Administration – Knowledgeable in Office 365 services and related O365 administration tasks. In addition to the core functions listed above, includes working knowledge of Azure AD, M365 Groups, Azure App Registrations, SharePoint Term Store, and Search & Intelligence.
· Cloud Administration – General working knowledge of cloud technologies and concepts
· Scripting & Automation – Knowledgeable in at least one or more web dev/IT Ops based scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, SQL, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript. Experienced in analyzing data and performing administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, and/or SQL. Should display understanding of well-organized and commented code.
Preferred Experience: In addition to the items listed above, preference will be given to candidates who have experience with the following:
· Project Management Skills – someone who takes ownership & initiative even in a remote setting. Familiar with project management tools such as Jira and MS Project
· Workflow Design & Implementation Experience – Able to gather requirements and assist non-technical teams with the creation of stateful approval and process automation workflows.
· Content Management – General understanding of digital content lifecycle concepts and their real-world application regarding to corporate data and IT processes.
· Agile Development Background – Understanding of agile and scrum concepts is a plus but not a hard requirement.
· Windows Server, Domain, and Storage Concepts – Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Domain Services, Active Directory, LDAP, NFS, CIFS, SMB, SFTP
· Networking Concepts – Foundational knowledge of networking protocols, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SMTP
· Amazon AWS – Foundational knowledge AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS
· Audio-Visual Systems Management – Foundational knowledge of AV conferencing systems, digital signage, and AV protocols including both audio and video over IP equipment, Crestron, Polycom, Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms – CCS or Service Desk? Both?

· Past examples and experience managing systems and projects through all phases of the system/project lifecycle.
· Experience working with IT Change Management practices and good team communication.
· The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
