The Position
NBCUniversal Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal’s full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management, from sales enablement to sales operations, from product marketing to strategic communications, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal’s $10B+ annual advertising business. Together, we’re building the platform that powers the future of advertising at NBCU.

The Technology Transformation team within Advertising Platforms & Operations (AP&O) oversees strategic projects and programs to support business priorities for NBCU’s Advertising & Partnerships organization and manages organizational workflow standards and governance to ensure efficient product delivery. We are currently seeking a Program Manager, Technology Transformation to manage the facilitation of customer demand innovation and high-growth ad products at NBCUniversal. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative person who is passionate about media and advertising innovation, cares about customers, and understands the value of good user experiences.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Technology Transformation, the person in this role will:
Facilitate the collaboration between sales, planning, strategy, data, and content teams to ensure development and delivery of best-in-class innovative demand products
Strategize on milestone execution amid numerous competing workstreams to ensure expectations are managed and contributor capacity is considered
Oversee requirements gathering efforts throughout developing engagements, keeping the pulse on changing priorities or new objectives across multiple lines of business
Own all program artifacts (including but not limited to project plans, roadmaps, risk register, and communications plan) and facilitate meetings with detailed agendas and notes
Manage conflicts, recognize risks, and employ mitigation tactics to ensure successful program execution
Oversee the successful transition from product launch to ongoing operational support (i.e., transition management back to the business)
Build and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, communicating consistent updates as needed (bi-weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly) on the active and requested initiatives
Identify opportunities to share and leverage best practices and processes cross-functionally
Organize and maintain Ad Platforms & Operations documentation
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications/Skills

2+ years of PM experience with a business or PM degree
OR 2-5 years of PM/programmatic experience with PM/business degree

OR 4-7 years of PM experience with non-PM/business degree

High tolerance for uncertainty and adapting to change
Experience in digital media and advertising platforms, with an emphasis on programmatic or agency functionOutstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to execute on larger portfolio projects
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver quality results
Excellent oral and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Atlassian tools (Jira)
Excellent customer service skills

Attention to detail while reviewing deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project requirements
Strong proficiency with Jira and scrum methodologies
The ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences
Ability to organize meetings, including creating pertinent agendas, managing conversations, and summarizing the results into a set of decisions made and next steps
