We are looking for a highly energized, self-motivated individual that will ensure accounts payable data is collected and processed in a confidential and timely manner. The AP clerk will assure the prompt and accurate processing of disbursements to vendors. This position will also be accountable for cash drawer counting and data entry for all locations.
Responsibilities/Skill Sets
Ø Working knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounting practices.
Ø Have proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office and capable of learning other software platforms.
Ø Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
Ø Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and the public.
Ø Should have a high degree of accuracy in processing checks and credits for all vendors.
Ø Maintain accounts payable filing system including the scanning of documents.
Ø Responsible for counting cash drawers and assisting others with the cash drawer process.
Ø Excellent communication skills and the ability to answer a multiple line phone system.
Ø Have aptitude in identifying issues and resolve while communicating with management.
Ø Must be able to work short notice overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
