Position Summary
Accounting
Manage day to day accounting by working with different teams like AP, AR, treasury, payroll, compliances
Work on month close (accruals, prepaid, depreciation, revenue) as per the timelines and publish the MIS
Work closely with the FP&A team on budgets
Accounts payable
Review and approve vendor payments
Ensure all agreements in place for vendors
Work closely with procurement team on vendor management
Accounts Receivable
Ensure monthly revenue recognized as per GAAP
Timely billing of customers
Work with markets team on collections, reduce DSO
Intercompany billing as per transfer pricing agreements with affiliate entities
Compliance
Lead statutory audits, tax audits and internal audits/IFC
Ensure other statutory compliances like GST, TDS, PF, PT
Quarterly advance tax calculations
Corporate law compliance – quarterly board meetings and AGM, other filings
CSR Compliance
Treasury and Fixed assets
Timely approval and payments towards vendors, employees, taxes
Ensure best rate for forex conversions
Cash flow management and cashflow reports
Capitalization of fixed assets, monthly depreciation, assets write off, physical verification of assets
Payroll
Smooth processing of monthly payroll, publish cost rates, reports and dashboards in increments
Gratuity trust accounting
Leave encashment funding options
Team Management
Manage a team of 8-10 members supporting the above activities
Define objectives and periodically review the goals, evaluate the performance, provide feedback to the team
Realign roles and objectives based on periodic review and additional tasks for the team
Understand the training needs of team and discuss with L&D for training programs
Qualifications
Accounting

Skill sets
A qualified B Com and CA
12-15 years of post qualification experience in handling end to end accounting function (accounts payable, accounts receivable, month close, audits, payroll, fixed assets, treasury, compliances)
Should be managing a team of 5-6 members
Working knowledge of Workday is an added advantage
Experience in coordinating with different internal departments
Proven communication skills and experience in interacting with different teams across the company
Well organized, skilled in time management and strong attention to detail
Good experience in MS excel
Proactive approach to work
Strong work ethic and team player
