Business
Financial Markets Production Management (FM) is the “Run” backbone of Financial Markets Technology. This includes supporting of front-to-back business applications used by Financial Markets Front, Middle and Back Office, as well as related functions such as Finance, Compliance. On top of that, FM Production Management is responsible for trading floor infrastructure, design and delivery of infrastructure demands from FM CIO, while maintaining Audit/Regulatory commitment at highest standard

Processes
The ecommerce tooling team is within the Production Support Organisation working alongside the Production Support Teams.
As a member of the Tooling Team you’ll be working with the team to create innovative ways to deliver new tooling in support of your colleagues in the production support teams. The primary aim of the team is to make the support and maintenance of the application estate easier through automation and tooling.

People and Talent
Core responsibilities include:
Help write well tested, maintainable and well documented code.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and projects at short notice.
Always working to improve upon current processes / working to automate as much as possible.
Deliver automation as far as possible. Releases, Monitoring, Housekeeping, health checks and tests should all be automated.
Work within a small team and help us build upon the existing Agile Kanban process.

Risk Management
Drive technology refresh programs, Obsolescence planning.
Regulatory and audit remediation.
Incident, Change and Problem Management improvements.
DR standardization and automation across FM Revenue application portfolio.
Drive ad-hoc programs such as patching, reboots, vulnerability remediation.
Operational Risk Management.

Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
0+ years Financial Market application support or program delivery experience.
Strong team player, effective in communicating and to working closely with clients.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent results.
Ability to multitask and work across different streams within the Financial Markets world.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong English conference skill with global teams.
Must be a quick self-learner and possess ability to work independently.
Understanding of ITIL based on service operation model and process.
Previous experience in running delivery or support teams in Investment Banking industry.
Good understanding of front-to-back flow across different FM products and infrastructure setup.

Required Technology Knowledge
Python, Django, HTML5, CSS & JavaScript.
Demonstrated competence/knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Excellent communication skills & ability to explain technical problems to non-technical users.
Shell Scripting
Configuration management & deployment tooling (ideally Ansible)
Docker/PodMan
Any RDMBS

Experience/Specific Knowledge of the following would be a bonus
