Perform analysis and review the effectiveness of current ways of working to provide the Data Quality Team with insights on operational efficiencies
Oversee and support Data Owners and Data Stewards in their assessments and decisions relating to DQ rules, standards, and metrics to ensure they are aligned to the DQ strategy and are consistently applied across regions, business units or functions
Involved in Data Standards and Data Dictionary maintenance along with Data Governance team and Data Stewards
Review and manage the implementation of policies, procedures, and SOPs to ensure they are correctly adopted and there is a common way of working with respect to data quality activities in place across regions, business units and functions
Support Data Governance Team with their reviews / updates of SOPs, policies and processes and provide suggestions / improvements for any changes to ensure that DQ standards are aligned to industry best standards and Organisation requirements
Actively participate in meetings and forums, acting as the representative of data quality activities planned or in pipeline across business units or functions
Cascade changes in SOPs, policies, processes, and general ways of working downstream from Governance to Operational Teams and key stakeholders including Data Stewards and Data Owners, to ensure that changes / updates are well understood and implemented
Support with DQ Remediation by acting as the first point of reference for Data Stewards to resolve data issues and/or with any other changes / updates that cannot be resolved in the first instance and require escalation to be implemented correctly
Lead data management improvement opportunities and potential continuous improvement initiatives
Represent the business impact of data quality issues and improvements. Manage a cycle of continuous data quality monitoring and Data Quality Issue log
Be the escalation point for data quality issue escalation for Data Operations team.
Champion the right first time data by ensuring data quality is embedded in data processes
Accountable for the trend analysis to articulate business value and impact of data quality issues and improvements
Provide oversight on setting priority on error resolution, working in partnership with Data Operations and Tech teams to resolve cross-functional issues.

At least 10-14 years of industry experience with relevant experience of 8+ years into Data Quality.
Experience in Consumer Goods, Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated environment.
Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and presentation
Strong listening skills, engagement with other functions and good analytical ability
Experience of working within data management and delivering against the Data Strategy
Proficient in assessing data complexity and criticality as well as the impact the incorrect data has on the relevant business processes, upstream and downstream processes
Deep understanding of the data fields in scope and how the quality of these may be optimised
Familiarity with risk management techniques and processes to minimise issues with data quality
