Job Summary

Coordinate implementation and engagement of student conduct programs and services on campus.
This position has been identified by Federal Law (Jeanne Clery Act) as a Campus Security Authority (CSA), with significant student and campus responsibilities. CSA ’s are obligated to report crimes reported to them which occurred on campus, in public areas bordering campus and in certain noncampus buildings owned or controlled (leased) by the University.

Responsibilities

Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
Adjudicate violations of Code of Student Conduct
Administer the Code of Student Conduct Process
Serve as single hearing officer and hearing chair for University Student Conduct Board
Implement educational programs relating to Code of Student Conduct
Manage administrative tasks utilizing database to maintain records
Draft reports and correspondence related to the student conduct process
Coordinate trainings for faculty, staff, and student on the student conduct process
Work with the Associate Dean of Student Conduct & Community Standards in review and updating of Code of Student Conduct
Assist the Associate Dean of Student Conduct & Community Standards with assessment initiatives
and special projects
Attend meetings as representative of the Office of Student Conduct as requested
Serve as liaison with other departments on campus

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

Required Experience

Three (3) or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

Master’s degree

Preferred Experience

Experience with Maxient (Student Conduct Database)

Proposed Salary

$36,500
This position is non-exempt and paid on a biweekly basis.
