JOB DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESSDEVELOPER – VIZAG MYFARMVIZAG MYFARM is an authentic farm to home delivery service organisation catering to Visakhapatnam city. Our main product is natural cow milk and buffalo milk. We need a skilled business developer to increase milk sales by acquiring and retaining new customer base.The ideal candidate will have experience in milk marketing, home delivery service, as well as strategic analysis and business development.In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationship with our customers, make more customers/members of myfarm. We will rely on you to partner with our marketing team to conduct market research and develop a strategic business development plan. At present we are at 500 litres milk sales in Visakhapatnam city in 12 pin code areas. Our plan is to reach to 2000 litres milk sales in one year.Business developer responsibilities and duties1. You must directly report to CEO of the firm on a daily basis.2. Identify potential customers in the target market increase natural cow milk sales from present 500 ltrs to 2000 ltrs in a year.3. Monitor and lead the city team (4 leads and 14 delivery agents) who is dealing with deliveries, CRM, marketing to have good relations with the existing customers and to increase the sales.4. Reduce customer attrition rate.5. Focus on reducing defect Rate in deliveries.6. Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations and remain up to date on industry news.7. Adding new agents in new lines with in serving areas.8. Start a digital marketing campaign to increase our sales.9. Identify star products in our product portfolio and increase sales.10. Identify bulk sale points like grocery stores or other speciality stores and negotiate rate contracts and launch our products in stores.11. Identify other item producers and increase our products in app.12. Organise farm – member relationship programmes through various measures.13. Continuously get improvements in our e-commerce app to cater to the needs of the customers.14. Ensure zero tolerance policy in grievance handing15. Make efforts to sell non perishable items through out the country by integrating with amazon, flip kart and other national level e commerce platforms.16. Ultimately make efforts to create “VIZAG MYFARM” brand visible in Visakhapatnam city.Business developer qualifications and skills1. Master’s degree in management with specialisation in marketing or business development.2. Few years’ experiences in marketing in relevant domain.3. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications like word and excel4. Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert in the job5. Basic understanding of the digital marketing tools and knowledge in utilisation of the tools.6. Knowledge in management information systems and updating the monitoring indices from time to time.7.
