Full Job Description :-
The incumbent will assist the CEO/ CFO in key projects to ensure timely and quality delivery focusing on back office (e.g. Admin, Data quality and Process requirements, Process reviews and Financial performance analysis, Risk management, etc.) i.e. to strengthen the India Leadership team by focusing on elevating back office performance, and management reporting of the business written from India.
This is a critical role as the incumbent in this role will be a bridge between the 3 critical functions of Reinsurance Admin, Finance and Valuation.
To lead special/strategic projects, to support business growth and drive operational effectiveness and efficiency, as assigned by the CFO/CEO.
Lead improvement projects in existing processes and implement best practices
Work closely with Finance, Valuation and Administration teams to adjust deliverables according to business needs
Focus on improving accessibility, developing quality controls, and developing a common database.
Open to undertake additional or alternative tasks, projects, and responsibilities as per the needs of the business.
Job Requirements: Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 8-12 years of overall experience in the Insurance industry and relevant reinsurance experience for 5 – 10 years.
Preferably a Qualified Actuary or someone with technical actuarial knowledge (corporate actuarial side) looking to branch out to do non-actuarial things with focus on wider business / operations activities)
Skills / Knowledge
Ideal candidate should be a team player, well-organized, a good problem solver and able to drive execution.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Able to quickly adapt to new circumstances as they arise.
Well versed on the updates related to insurance/reinsurance sector and clients.
Aids in building business strategies and plans including capital requirements as per regulation.
Good understanding of various reinsurance arrangements and data reporting requirements.
Ability to understand and interpret the Financial statements.
Strong client focus, both internal and external clients, for managing and executing client expectation.
Developing management reports to meet reporting expectation highlighting trends & key result areas.
