Technical Trainer
Vision of Position: Achieve our Vision, Mission, and Purpose through providing a world class Technical Training capability.
Mission of Position: Prepare, maintain, teach all technical training programs to educate and develop technicians technical, customer relation, and time management skills.
Reports To: This position reports directly for the Director of Standardization and Training and directly coordinates with General Managers, branch staff, corporate staff, and technicians in the execution of the assigned task and responsibilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess all technical training needs and document all training requirements.
2. Develop and maintain all related curriculums, training manuals, and courseware in support of the training requirements.
3. Provide technical training to technicians to ensure high quality technical knowledge, customer relations and time management skills and behaviors.
4. Conduct surveys and evaluate training to standards and learning objectives.
5. Establish and set up training systems and equipment to support technical training.
6. Schedule and execute all technical training classes to ensure all technicians progress through the appropriate training curriculum.
7. Develop, document, manage, and execute all technical and behavioral related technical training processes, procedures, and programs.
8. Conduct Quality Assurance Reviews to audit the quality of the Technical Training capability.
9. Coordinate with the Analytics Department to identify opportunities to improve quality through modifications or updates to training courseware.
10. Provide technical training support to any OEM campaign initiative.
11. Ensure all appropriate administrative functions are maintained and updated.
12. Provide Operator Training to all technicians and maintain all appropriate records.
13. Integrate the appropriate Operations, Sales, Rental and Analytic capabilities into all training related products.
14. Provide developmental support for the career management of our technicians throughout their Employee Life Cycle.
15. Develop and maintain relationships with all SSTLift:
Service and Parts Associates,
General Managers, Branch Operations Managers, Sales Leaders, and Rental coordinators,
Manufactures and Vendors,
Corporate support staff.
16. Execute any task that maybe assigned by the Vice President of Operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
Jacksonville, FL 32254: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
