1.Technical Manager-constructionSalary: Negotiable Company: ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION INDIAIndustry: construction industryDivision: Technical DepartmentLocation: TrivandrumExperience : minimum 10 years’ experience.Education;B.E / B.Tech in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Gender: MaleJob Role : Job brief: Technical Manager is expected to have a thorough knowledge of technical activities involved in the construction industry. He has to coordinate with all engineering departments of Head Office and Back office for any requirements. Necessary guidance to be provided for the back office engineering team to complete the assigned tasks. He will be responsible for leading and developing the technical team to meet the requirements from Head office.Responsibilities: *Managing a team of Technical staffs of several disciplines and profile.Communicating with HoDs and coordinators of Head office and back office.Develops work schedule by studying head office requirements.Prepares monthly reports to intimate the head office on the task progress/ status.Maintains department standards and company reputation by complying with requirements and regulations.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.**Requirements:**Strong written and verbal communication skills.Planning and organizational skills, such as time and resource allocation.Knowledge of all activities in Construction industry, Strong initiative, IT literate and Decisiveness.Thorough understanding of contracts management in construction sectorExperience in handling contract documents like BoQs, specification and drawingsExcellent problem solving skills and commercial awareness.B.E / B.Tech in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 years’ experience.Any Project Management certification would be added advantage.*Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentPay: ₹50,000.00 – ₹100,000.00 per monthSchedule:Day shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Trivandrum, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Technical Manager-construction: 10 years (Preferred)
