Job Description: –
Demonstrable history working within the Investment Management domain (min. 5-10 years) with all key functions (front-, middle- and back-office, compliance, accounting, reporting)
Strong understanding of key asset classes: Equity, Fixed Income, Exchange Traded Derivatives , OTC Derivatives
Strong understanding of Trade data and Hands on experience with Interface Translation mapping : Back-office automation (e.g. CSV, XML, SWIFT etc.)
Test case design and use of relevant tools for automation, e.g. HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Quality Center
Familiarity and experience with similar IMS/OMS platforms e.g. CRIMS,IDW, DEH, GTM, RKS etc.
Analyze inbound client transaction files at the data attribute level, look at the history of the file over several days, to understand the data in the inbound file.
Document ACK/NAK conditions, ACK/NAK format, and ACK/NAK destinations at the file level
Define mapping of inbound client transaction file data attributes to the SWIFT MT54x, MT202, MT30x (Securities, Cash, and FX) formats. Define mapping of ACK/NAK Reponses.
Document the mapping in a standard template for review and audit. (Clear, complete, and accurate documentation of user requirements)
Document file level attributes in a standard integration catalog (file naming characteristics, mapping identifier, source of file, destination of file, ACK/NAK definitions key client contacts, key state street business contacts, and other file attributes as defined
Complete interface mapping definition in proprietary tool set (Interface Definition Wizard or IDW) by creating mapping rules for each inbound data attribute to outbound data attribute
Complete unit testing of the mapping interface as defined, using samples of data files, validate the results, correct any discrepancies
Support Business User testing – answering questions from business testers, correcting any rules, and making any other adjustments to the mapping to support business sign-off.
Demonstrable experience leading requirements gathering, user acceptance testing
Very strong communication and management skills
