A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
As an Assistant Quality Control Inspector, you are responsible for the implementation of inspection test plans, inspection and calibration of all equipment, the documentation of all non-conforming work and rework, and the daily completion of all inspection reports. You also complete and observe corrective action procedures as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Requires a minimum NACE CIP Level 1 Inspector Certification or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of full-time field experience in Industrial/Marine Coatings field
Ability to enter confined spaces and crawl through cargo/ballast tanks for extended periods of time
Experienced with working on staging or in a boom lift safely
Shipyard experience is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have a willingness to learn? Are you self-motivated and reliable? Can you work well independently? WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position works 40+ hours per week. The 1st shift typically runs from 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM.
