Description :
The Cashier works primarily in the Cafe Retail operation, handling cash and credit card transactions. Their main function is to accurately operate the cash register and complete the transactions. Provides support in the retail operation, including set up, maintaining supplies and products, assisting in cleanup and closedown.
Responsible for accurate ring of proper PLU for sale items and/or accurate barcode scan. Maintains proper security of cash at all times. May also be required to prepare for service before the meal and clean the dining room after meal (wiping tables, cleaning chairs, pushing chairs close to tables. May set up and stock the beverage area, grab and go items, service ware and condiments or other assigned areas. May assist in locating, reconciling and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operating peripheral equipment that records and supports non cash transactions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $15.50 per hour
