Seeking a Mechanical Technician to work in the area of Oakland Park. please read below the responsibilities the position intel’s.
DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for product cycle-testing and prototype troubleshooting
· Completes product cycle-testing and provides Engineering with product performance reports
· Performs root-cause analysis of product performance issues encountered during cycle-testing
· Provides suggestions to improve and/or eliminate product performance issues
2. Provides mechanical and electrical technical support to the Engineering Team
· Supports creating instructions for product assembly, maintenance and care, and installation
· Assist with fabrication and measurement of parts and fixtures using a variety of hand tools and shop machinery
· Maintains Prototype inventory
3. Technical field support
· Occasionally performs field repairs, maintenance, and installation of existing and new products
· Trains Customers Service Technicians on maintenance and installation of new and existing products
4. Perform other duties as may be required
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience & Skills)
High School diploma and a minimum of two (2) years of electro-mechanical technician experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
Trade education certification or certificate of completion (preferred)
Effective verbal & written English communication skills with ability to understand and follow instructions
General computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g Word, Excel, Outlook,etc)
Ability to work effectively individually and in teams
Ability to read blue prints (preferred)

· Uses personal protective equipment such as eye, hearing, hand and foot protection (e.g. Safety Glasses, ear phones, work gloves, etc.)

Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
