JOB DESCRIPTION – Front Desk Manager
Title: Front Desk Manager
Reports To: Communication Manager
SUMMARY OF POSITION, FUNCTION, AND DUTIES
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for welcoming all students, parents and visitors to campus and assisting them with their needs in a friendly, efficient manner. This individual is an important part of the SCS
Communication team and helps create a warm first impression for our guests. Skills and qualifications include strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, customer service focus, experience with data entry and supply management.
Under the Communication Manager’s direction, the Front Desk Manager is assigned to fulfill the mission of honoring the Lord Jesus Christ which is to equip students with a love for Christ, a passion to learn, the courage to lead, and a commitment to serve. The school administration may assign additional duties or specify other functions needed as may be appropriate for specific faculty posts.
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
PERSONAL BELIEF & BEHAVIOR

Must be a born-again Christian whose lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Bible and express agreement with the school’s doctrinal viewpoints, statement of faith, and Christian lifestyle requirements.
Must be able to serve as a positive Christian role model to others in the school context.
Must be able to accept and support the school’s core beliefs, statement of faith, and doctrine.
Must have an understanding of and commitment to SCS’s educational objectives and philosophy of education.
Must possess sufficient biblical knowledge that enables the individual to integrate Scripture into subjects taught, sports coached, or other job duties assigned, thus imparting to students a biblical worldview position.
Must faithfully attend a local church whose fundamental beliefs are in agreement with the statement of faith and doctrine of this school.
Must affirm that he/she believes that working and ministering in this Christian school would be pleasing to God, would be consistent with his/her purpose in life, and would be good stewardship of his/her time, talent, and professional abilities.
Must enjoy working with young people.

CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES

Greet all parents and visitors entering campus
Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
Answer main phone lines, general voicemail messages, attendance calls and change auto attendance greeting on holidays/breaks.
Main collection point for items dropped off

OPERATIONAL DUTIES

Scan visitors into Raptor visitor management system and obtain a visitor tag before proceeding to their destination
Allow access into front door and side gate remotely
Order and manage all office supplies
Update mailboxes and organize teacher’s lounge each summer and as needed.
Prepare phone directory for classrooms/offices.
Oversee hallway music system, make sure lobby is orderly and DVD turned on daily, maintain updated materials in magazine rack.
Call maintenance for immediate needs such as wasp nets, clean-ups
Announce over intercom/phone system
Add funds to lunch accounts when needed in coordination with Business office
Other duties as assigned

ADMISSIONS/ADVANCEMENT ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT DUTIES

Enter inquiries and applicants contact information in RenWeb
Manage RenWeb constituent records, enter new families, update contact information, add student photos, maintain database accuracy, and communicate changes with Business Office.
Enter new and update current employee/coaches/subs info including photo, church affiliation, degrees, certifications, and professional licensure numbers into RenWeb.
Collected updated employee contact information such as address, phone, spouse, and church during

Employee Prep Days.

Create Gmail distribution groups for employees.
Produce mailing lists and email distribution lists as needed.
Manage Constant Contact email distribution lists, bounced emails, new families, withdrawn families, etc.
Perform Constant Contact database clean up maintenance annually
