position : Front Office Staff/Call Center
Call center and front desk employee needed for busy family practice in Bradenton. Responsibilities include call center, patient check-in, patient check-out, updating demographics and insurance, insurance verification, scanning, collecting copays and balances, giving appropriate paperwork to patients arriving at the office, faxing as needed, distribution of paperwork to appropriate locations in the office, backing up call center with overflow calls and scheduling appointments.
We are a large, busy practice with a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction, excellence in customer service and exceptional patient care. The right candidate needs to be compassionate with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Teamwork and multitasking is an important key for success.
Check in and out patients for appointments
Processing incoming faxes to appropriate departments
Collect co-pays and past due balances
Correct input of intake paperwork at check-in entering patient demographics, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
Excellent phone etiquette
Excellent attention to detail
Proper presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
