Description :
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for assisting the Associate Vice President of Human Resources with the processes, people, and procedures that actively support the culture of LifeStream. Through retention of highly talented professionals who are passionately devoted to LifeStream’s mission. The Human Resources Manager supports the employees throughout the employment lifecycle directly or indirectly and must have a broad knowledge of human resources. They must be capable of relating to a diverse range of individuals, complete thorough investigations, manage risk, and act fairly despite conflicting demands. The Human Resources Manager at LifeStream is a Supervisory position that oversees the Training Manager(1 direct report) and HR Supervisor (3 direct reports).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Associate Vice President of Human Resources with managing the assigned areas of human resource functions for the agency.
Train, review, and manage compliance of annual performance evaluations for the agency.
Review, coach and train leaders on corrective actions helping them to grow and develop their direct reports
Provide coaching & training to front line leaders to enhance their people and performance management skills.
Assist with training and regulatory audits as needed
In collaboration with AVP, HR manages compliance with existing state, federal and local laws as well as government reporting requirements including any related to the Department of Labor(DOL) or its subsidiaries. Ie AAP, Wage Surveys, etc.
Provides recommendations to leadership, managers and department contacts on human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with LSBC regulations, federal and state laws.
Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; maintains employee handbook in conjunction with the AVP.
Establishes and maintains department records and reports related to employee relation complaints in compliance with all policies.
Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings as assigned. In addition to outside agency meetings.
Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Responsible for processing many employee’s lifecycle programs from loan forgiveness to unemployment claims.
Works in tandem with the Benefits Coordinator to ensure all leaves and claims are processed through all necessary systems.
Hires, trains, motivates, and coaches assigned staff to meet the goals and requirements of the department.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems related to assigned staff members
The ability to work collaboratively with others and to accept constructive criticism from supervisors and managers
Willingness to follow the company’s policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,964.00 – $50,363.00 per year
