POSITION TITLE:
Intermediate Full Stack Developer / IT Generalist
POSITION SUMMARY: Consideration will be given to a recent graduate who excelled in their studies and demonstrates eagerness to learn.
This exciting opportunity is for an intermediate level Full Stack Developer / IT generalist with 2 to three years of experience writing SQL and C# .NET code. This is a direct hire full time position. Working with a small internal staff and several third-party vendors, this position will primarily assist with the upgrade of several core systems at the Board. This position will assist in the design and testing of components developed by third-party vendors and provide generalized IT support to staff, trustees, and test development committees. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in monitoring and reporting on third-party .NET development to ensure compliance with technical and business specifications.
Function as part of an internal development team to develop, enhance and support several internal

C# ASP.NET applications with MS SQL database backends.

Development of complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and Azure jobs.
Develop ad-hoc reports, file extracts, and data-reconciliations.
Development, support and monitoring of internally developed batch processes.
Create and update system documentation for production/enterprise systems.
Engages in requirements gathering and assists in the development of Statements of Work (SOWs).
Provide real-time technical support to users of ABPath applications.
Provide generalized IT support of all types for ABPath staff, trustees, and test committees.
Performs additional related duties as needed.
No supervisory responsibilities.

COMPETENCIES:

Must possess strong analytical skills coupled with unparalleled, professional communication skills.

Strong technical problem solving (issue identification and prioritization) skills are essential for this role which also includes troubleshooting issues for complex database applications.

Strong multi-tasking skills are required as they must juggle multiple, high priority items simultaneously while maintaining professionalism.

Ability to function comfortably and consistently within defined change management and event management protocols.
Ability to write, modify, and execute complex SQL queries for SQL Server.
Ability to create algorithms to solve complex business problems using SQL and .NET languages.
Ability to create stored procedures, user defined functions, indexed views, and triggers.
Ability to organize and deliver IT services within standard IT frameworks.
Ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic and evolving enterprise environment.
Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation in support of system configuration and operation (system diagrams, application topology, data flow, SOPs, business processes, etc.).
Willingness to roll-up their sleeves and help provide general IT support to the Board, as needed.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting and delivering exemplary quality IT services in a multi-site organization.
2 to 3 years of experience in an ASP.NET C# development role.
2 to 3 years of experience MS SQL database development.
Experience supporting cloud applications in AWS and Azure a plus.
Experience in the Healthcare industry is not a requirement, but desirable.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED WORK HOURS/TRAVEL:
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and outstanding benefits, including tuition reimbursement, in a rewarding work environment. Evening and weekend work is minimal, only as job duties demand. This position requires very infrequent travel in the United States.
