Ability to adjust to dynamic project priorities and multi-tasking.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Landscape Architecture, related field or commensurate experience.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Valid driver s license and good driving record.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Produce creative landscape design solutions with a passion for improving the ecology for communities, commercial projects, greenways and trails and complete streets projects.
Knowledge of or willing to learn the principles and practices of native plant landscape design, low impact development and sustainable systems.
Confidence in professional capabilities, and ability to work with limited direction.
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and/or LandFX software; familiarity with Bluebeam and/or Adobe Software.
Research, evaluate and propose materials, colors, textures, patterns and products for hardscape, recreation and site furnishings plans.
Learn about, coordinate and prepare construction details and construction document plan sets.
Learn about and complete site visits, soil sampling, site analyses and construction observation & reporting.
Assist in the development of presentations and facilitating community workshops.
Assist in client interviews, giving short, verbal presentations.
Work collaboratively with other disciplines including Urban Planning, Transportation, Civil Engineering as needed to prepare project submittals.
