Well established and stable manufacturing company, Dayton Granger Inc. has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Worker to join its TEAM.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining efficient operations and upkeep of the DG’s facility and grounds. They will diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall, general cleaning, exterior structural, and appliances.
Minimum Qualifications for the Maintenance Worker:
High School Diploma/GED; Trade school education/certifications are a plus and taken into consideration for compensation.
Maintenance Experience: A least 2 years
Equipment / Machinery / Tools: Required to use gloves, eye protective glasses/goggles and other personal protective equipment as tasks dictate. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the tools used for plumbing, electrical, carpentry and machinery such as : various hand tools, power tools, wheelbarrows, dollies, hand trucks, buckets, jacks, ladders, shovels, measuring instruments, multimeters
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be self-motivated and have a positive attitude. Must also be a Team Player who can effectively interface with and take instruction from various personnel.
