position : Manager of Mental Health Wellness Support
Support and coordinate with school leaders and school personnel in the area of Mental Health & Wellness and Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Conduct research on current practices and provide recommendations, process improvements, and resources to support and improve overall support of Mental Health and Wellness. Collaborate with State and National team members to monitor and support the implementation of the AiA curriculum to support SEL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct surveys and data analysis regarding the current school practices and resources for student Mental Health and Wellness.
Provide best-practice support and monitoring to schools for implementing the AiA curriculum.
Collaborate with National, State, and School leaders on best practices for ensuring that students have recognized Adult Advocates on all campuses.
Collaborate with CSUSA Human Resources to provide leaders with resources and best practices for supporting adults on school campuses in the areas of Mental Health and Wellness.
Develop and lead training for Mental Health and Wellness strategies and best practices.
Plan and conduct appointments with school-based Mental Health and SEL staff as needed.
Collaborate with National and State Teams to develop processes and procedures to align with state and district policies related to best practices in Mental Health and Wellness support.
Create resources and implementation guides for best practices and early warning indicators regarding student Mental Health and Wellness.
Maintain collaborative relationship with CSUSA’s State Teams and National Team.
Develop and facilitate presentations to CSUSA leaders as requested.
Travel to assigned CSUSA school sites as required.

Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
Master’s Degree or commensurate experience, preferred.
Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
Command of grades/subject specific content and theoretical knowledge of learning theory, including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation and feedback techniques.
Minimum of three (3) years of successful administrative experience (or comparable experience).
Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills.
Adherence to the requirements of the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA.

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY:
Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
