Description :
We are a busy psychiatric practice located on the Southside.
The office is currently looking for an experienced, dependable and friendly patient care coordinator. Duties include but not limited to: checking in/out patients, answering busy multi phone lines, using fax machine, copy machine, pulling charts and other responsibilities as needed. You will also be responsible for collecting copays and patient balances and trained to complete referral intakes.
As a patient coordinator, you will serve as a positive impression of the company, while handling the daily responsibilities of the front desk with efficiency and ease. You will answer inquires, provide information to patients and maintain a positive attitude.
The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric care, insurance eligibility, insurance benefits, prior authorizations and the release of medical records following all HIPAA compliance rules.
