BASIC FUNCTIONS: Non-exempt. Under the general supervision of the Electronic Gaming Systems Analyst (EGSA), this position assists in the observation and monitoring of electronic gaming computer hardware and software installations, the maintenance of network operations, regulatory compliance of established standards, participates in the development of the gaming system audit process and must be able to quickly learn and integrate new skills and knowledge. Must be able to seek out avenues to enhance technical knowledge, effectively communicate, and collaborate with technical and product experts. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are a must, as is the ability to adapt to the rapidly changing requirements of development.
This position, under minimum supervision of the EGSA, will work cooperatively, yet perform independently of other Commission staff; will assist in the monitoring activities of the Tribal Lottery System (TLS) to ensure compliance with CTGC TICS, Appendix X and/or X2 of the Colville-WA Compact, and NIGC MICS as they apply to Class II electronic game systems; and must also have the experience and aptitude to work cooperatively and assist in the installation and maintenance of surveillance equipment associated with the digital surveillance system network.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Training:
Associates Degree in Electronics & Computer Technology, Network Systems Administration, or related fields; OR
Two (2) or more years of training and/or work experience in related area with basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming type devices; AND
Two years of experience in the configuration, testing and repair of IP networking devices: including switches, routers, and firewalls.
Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State drivers license and be eligible for the Tribes vehicle insurance.
Must be qualified and suitable for a tribal gaming license under Tribal, State, and Federal requirements. Tribal gaming license applications must be completed and submitted with the CCT job application to be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Windows NT, XP, UNIX operating systems, LAN/WAN, and telecommunications functions in order to assist with: install, troubleshoot and maintain operating systems, hardware, workstations, related devices, software applications, LAN/WAN, and communication systems;
Knowledge of IP Networking and principles, including hubs, switches, and routers; basic knowledge of and work experience with SQL and UNIX preferred; working knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of electronic gaming systems.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality standards.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively for training and seminars and to visit casinos regularly.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply appropriate gaming rules, regulations, policies, and procedures as well as related tribal, federal, and state compact requirements.
Ability to investigate regulatory and field issues and assist compliance personnel with electronic gaming regulatory questions.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in written format; ability (on a non-technical level) to provide expertise and advice, collect and exchange information, and analyze/resolve computer-related problems.
Ability to read and understand electronic gaming schematics and service manual.
Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with the pressures of multiple tasks and deadlines in a positive manner.
Ability to sit and or stand for long periods of time to perform assigned duties and responsibilities.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
Ability to adhere to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle to maintain compliance with Colville Tribal and Commission policy and requirements.
