Summary
Our successful team at Battaglia, Ross, Dicus & McQuaid, consisting of 13 attorneys and two dozen support team members, is growing. We seek an experienced receptionist capable of professionally representing our firm and multi-tasking in a high call volume environment. Bilingual fluency is preferred (English-Spanish).
MUST BE IN OFFICE DAILY – Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Must be reliable.
Our firm office is conveniently located in western St. Pete (not downtown). Free parking.
Duties
Answer phone calls on the main firm phone line
Transfer calls accurately or record messages
Document client information accurately in firm databases
Interact with visitors and clients in a professional manner
Receive deliveries at the front desk and direct them to the correct person
Coordinate phone coverage with staff for breaks, lunches and absences
Train new staff on the use of the phone system for coverage
Conduct business with absolute confidentiality
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must reside in the greater St. Petersburg area or within close proximity to St. Pete
The position is located at the firm office daily (M – F, 8 am to 5 pm; 1 hour lunch). The hire’s commute must not impact required daily attendance or punctuality.
High school diploma required
Multi-phone line experience required (1+ years)
Superb telephone etiquette: pleasant, polite, great listener, ability to deal calmly with callers
Excellent client relationship skills: personable, patient, tolerant, informative, helpful, composed
Experience with Microsoft Office and / or Google G-Suite
English-Spanish bilingual skills preferred
Must pass a background check
Must be extremely reliable and consistent
