Position Summary
Digital Design Lead – Manager – Bengaluru (/Hyderabad)
As an experienced Digital Design Lead, you will embody the mission of enabling Deloitte Advisory business success and growth through creative design of digital sales experiences and assets. You will play a key role in setting the vision and executing the design and development of client-facing digital sales experiences and other related assets and collateral, working closely with offshore and onshore team members and stakeholders from the business. A successful Digital Design Lead is a quick learner, great team player, clear communicator, creative, collaborative, flexible, and efficient. Teams across the US and India will rely on your ability to tell a story through thoughtful design. You will directly lead the creative visioning and brainstorming process, provide oversight to design resources during the development process, execute the vision for the design assets, and ultimately develop digital sales experiences.
Work you’ll do
As a Digital Graphic Design Lead with the Commercial Office Technology Excellence/Spark team, you will be leading design team members in India and the US and working closely with stakeholders across various US business groups. In your work, you will contribute to and directly influence the design and development of digital sales experiences and assets for priority services and solutions. Specific responsibilities of the Design Lead include:
Manage team members with a style that encourages their highest and best work, continuous growth, and innovation
Understand Deloitte Brand Guidelines and align design output to norms
Work with and lead team members across time zones in India and the US to understand the business’ needs, objectives, and priorities for their digital sales experience or asset
Translate business needs and objectives, as well as the complex insights and nuances, into visually compelling themes, concepts, and compositions
Lead and participate in creative working sessions and design reviews with internal client teams and be able to clearly articulate the design principles behind your work to convey their purpose and connection to the overall project objectives
Lead and contribute to conceptualizing, designing, and developing marketing materials, campaigns, and other eminence-building assets and collateral for digital, motion, and print
Lead and oversee the development of design storyboards and assets that effectively communicate visual design concepts
Think creatively, aesthetically, and independently and have good knowledge of diverse media as well as current design trends
Encourage brand compliance in formatting of marketing collaterals and assets for print and digital space
Coach and train team members on latest design tools and techniques and set them up for success
Explore cutting-edge digital design tools and assess fit for Deloitte

Work experience:
Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication or related field
8 – 10 years of experience in design / visual communication design (digital, motion, and print graphic development) in a fast-paced environment
2 – 4 years of coaching, overseeing, and leading design team members
Required skills:
A strong portfolio that showcases your creative expertise – across all aspects of the design spectrum, from initial conceptualization and visioning, through asset development, to final product
A proven ability to tell a story through visual design and imagery
Ability to translate complex information/analytics into compelling visual communications
Mastery-level experience in Digital and Print Publishing (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign) and Motion graphics/Video/Audio editing (Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition)
Experience with or a willingness and ability to quickly learn new design and experience development tools, software, and technologies – such as Intuiface – to bring designs to life in an interesting and dynamic way
Integrate design concepts and mock-ups with an integrated and dynamic delivery mechanism to maximize client engagement
Experience with software coding would be a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to negotiate and creatively persuade (e.g., show vs. tell) stakeholders, often those senior to you, to embrace new and unorthodox ideas
Demonstrated abilities to work independently while also overseeing design associates, and work as part of a supportive team
Experience working as part of an offshore delivery center would be a plus
Strong illustration skills (freehand, digital, etc.)
Good aesthetic sense and knowledge on typography, color, and various design styles/trends
Knowledge of corporate communications and Brand identities and the ability to execute highly creative projects with adherence to brand guidelines
Good project management, client relationship management, and time management skills

Flexibility required to work across US and India time zones.
