SUMMARY:
The Content Creator position is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing review and editing of a variety of marketing, social media, sales development, and online content, as well as designated internal communications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the content development and writing of sales collateral (brochures, newsletters, flyers, postcards/direct mail, presentations, etc.)
Responsible for the effectual writing, proofreading, and editing of marketing materials for both print and digital spaces
Design, develop and maintain an effective content/editorial calendar, meeting or exceeding established deadlines
Responsible for the content development for online outlets including, but not limited to social media accounts, paid social and lead generation venues, blog posts, as well as the landing page, website, and infographic content
Review, revise and maximize content for search engine optimization
Develop and edit Request for Proposal documents, as well as associated supporting details
Collaborate with producers, and other key colleagues, for content ideas and marketing pieces and producer and colleague bios, as well as podcast topic ideas/questions
Develop and execute effective market research to ensure successful content development on a wide variety of platforms
Design and develop external communication content including press releases, annual agency reviews, advertising copy, white papers, and email content
Develop effective content for corporate internal communications and video scripts
Participate in seminars and other training to maintain required licenses and for knowledge and skill development

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing priority production environment
Ability to successfully develop and execute a consistent writing style, as well as effective messaging and voice content
Excellent PC skills, with the ability to demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products
Self-motivated, with the initiative to prioritize and be self-directed
Regular and punctual attendance is required
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally, and in writing
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both colleagues, and managers, across all levels
Ability to promote, and maintain a team environment, willing to find accommodating solutions for our customers, companies, and the Agency
Ability to successfully adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as maintain strict confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-5 Years previous communication or journalism content writing experience preferred
Bachelors degree in Journalism preferred
Previous insurance experience preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS AND REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS:
Fast-paced, multi-tasking, office environment with periodic high disruption and changing priorities
Ability to perform approximately 80% sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and negligible force frequently
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
Requires operation of a computer workstation, including keyboard and video display
