The Solutions Advisor sits with the newly formed, global GTM Strategy and Operations Team and leads consultative engagements with Granicus customers, partnering with key internal Granicus stakeholders to build compelling visions while advising and executing strategies. They serve as hands-on advisors, using strong interpersonal skills, functional and/or technical knowledge, Granicus product knowledge, industry experience, and consulting experience to deliver solution ROI. These T-shaped humans are change makers eager to apply commercial digital experience to the Public Sector. They are compelling and dynamic presenters and facilitators, obtaining both customer and cross-functional department acceptance by understanding and delivering the right strategic vision, and driving the difficult conversations necessary to execute business strategies. They are proficient at analyzing issues and obstacles to determine root cause(s), weighing options, choosing appropriate courses of action, and measuring and revising strategy based on results. They interact with both technical and Solution customer leaders to anticipate needs, understand requirements, analyze information, and design comprehensive solutions. They also show a strong understanding of typical government challenges faced by customers and common objectives and partner with internal stakeholders to jointly come to a solution.

Solution Advisors contribute to thought leadership and best practices by evangelizing your solution across the Granicus organization while owning the overall go-to-market strategy.

Day-to-day activities will include optimizing the business strategy aligned to specific government impact areas such as business process automation, permitting, compliance and licensing, customer service and relationship mgmt. (CRM) systems, and other digital transformation efforts. Deliverables may include building business models and reporting dashboards to determine total addressable market, managing partnerships to fill immediate gaps in solutions or designing and iterating experiments to test market hypotheses.

Success will require collaboration across the entire Granicus organization, but close relationships with our consulting, product, and implementation teams to execute against the strategy is what will help our clients better achieve their desired goals and outcomes.

Lastly, this position reports to the Sr. Director, Platform Growth Strategy and will also work closely with Granicus senior executives to create value systematically and transparently across the organization.

Specific Responsibilities

Scale sales enablement strategies in partnership with Sales Operations team
Conduct win/loss calls and share insights back into Product Management team
Identify and analyze growth opportunities in support of Marketing and BDR teams
Positively impact client renewals (when applicable) in tandem with Customer Success team
Partner with Implementation teams to refine project approaches resulting in better scoping, sizing, and pitching to win new business
Optimize P&L in partnership with Implementation and Renewals/Pricing/Contracts teams
Curate solution collateral in conjunction with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement teams
Maintain strategic partnerships which support Solution and inform M&A

Relevant Skills/Experiences/Qualifications

Led cross-functional digital transformation projects in a city, county of state Experience with various web, form, and technologies to enable better online service delivery Understanding of 311, online self-service industry and landscape Defined a go-to-market strategy (e.g., supporting the launch of new products or growth of vertical markets and partnerships) Engaged with executive management, customer advisory board members, and account teams across geographic regions in strategic and business development conversations to develop a compelling and cohesive global growth strategy that is reviewed and regularly updated 3-5 years of work experience with relevant government experience (City, County, State or Federal agency) Min of 5-10 years of professional experience in communications, strategy, technology, policy, or consulting

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary range between $100,000 – $120,000 + bonus + benefits.
