Full Job Description :-
The core duties of this position include:
Management of Production Center, including maintaining and troubleshooting all equipment (laminators, comb binders, die cuts, button makers, poster maker, award maker), order supplies, and train new employees on all equipment
Serve at least 1 hour a day at service desk
Maintain and troubleshoot all computers and technology in the Teaching Resources Center area, including student computers, scanner and instructional classroom (2508)
Management of TRC Website
Create and update the department’s LibGuides
Department liaison to ALS IT Operations and ALS Building Operations
Teach education related classes/tours (as needed)
Consultations with students (as needed)
Create book and event displays for the TRC
Update collection bibliographies for faculty and students
Create and maintain departmental passwords
Minimum Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience in library services, office support, or related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
License or Certification required by statute or regulation
None
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Graduation from a four-year college or university; experience in maintaining webpages; education, experience, and/or classes in computer and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and software utilization; experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets; previous work experience in a curriculum materials center.
License or Certification required by the Department
